Hi Guys,

 

 Welcome to new Render Optimizer V2 at 3dsmax2013. Use this tool to optimize Light-Method, Sampling-Method, Ambient Occlusion Cache and RAM-Managment.

Render Optimizer V1 at 3dsmax 2011 + 2012: download Update at 09-01-2012

New Render Optimizer V2 at 3dsmax 2013: download Update at 27-04-2012

 

Install Render Optimizer from  3dsmax2011 to 3dsmax2013

1) copy Render_Optimizer_v2.mse +  Render_Optimizer_v2_loader.mcr  for example to c:\3dsmax2013\macroscripts\
4) start 3dsmax
5) goto the customize user interface -> Toolbar -> Category mental ray
6) move per drag and drop the Render_Optimizer Icon to the toolbar and start the new Button.

install IBL Script

9. save/load/remove all Options at the scene File.

Ram Optimizer V1.4

 

This Blog present all Ram Optimizer at 3dsmax2010, 3dsmax2011, 3dsmx2012. Use Ram Optimizer to fixed Autodesk Bugs and find the best Renderingsettings.

Parameters

 

  1. Single: optimitize speed / need 64Bit and a lot of RAM
  2. Network: render 100% stable of all Computers but increases Rendertime
  3. Slaves Only: This is useful if the master host also runs front-end applications that must remain responsive even under heavy load. The master may execute certain rendering jobs only if the slaves run out of resources.
  4. TaskSize Auto: When set to true (default), mental ray will adjust the bucket size automatically to use all cores optimally (for example when updating Material Editor samples).
  5. Auto Limit: check automaticly your maximum of RAM / increases the Rendertime
  6. mr managed Maps: load Maps from Disk
  7. Optionlist: no optimize / Control Placholder / Assemblies Objects (only Proxies) /  Control Placholder + Assemblies . Use Placeholder Object to load Object on demand, when the cameraview see it/ good for DBR
  8. Conserve Memory: Create a tempfile .map from a framebuffer / good for Big Rendering Resolution
  9. mr Memory Limit: Set Mental ray Ram memory limit. Set as default max. 80% of your RAM.
  10. Bitmap Pager: activate Autodesk Bitmap Pager.
  11. Memory Limit in percent: Set max. Ram memory limit.
  12. Memory Padding in percent: Set max. Ram memory limit in percent.
